Brief about past…………..

Left graduation from Govt College Lahore and joined Pakistan Army in 1989 served till 1996 as Captain in 1st Sind regt, spent 1 year in Mogadishu, Afgoe, Kismayo and Merraca (Somalia) as United Nations Peace keeping force with 29 other Armies. Resigned Army after doing exceptionally good in Infantry Basic course, ACT and OBEC. Started leather export business which I left after 9/11.
Then raised a new company C&F Solutions (Custom & Freight Solutions) www.cf-solutions.pk
Having offices in Lahore and Karachi, which I left in Aug 09 and started working with a Multi National. My aim in life is to GROW so change of trade or line does not haunt me from taking new challenges :)

Assalam-o-Alaikum! We are living in dangerous times. The world changed its course after 9/11, and there is disorder and confusion all around us. All of us need to make a difference, but first we have to “strive” to be good human beings ourselves while focusing on our own values as Muslims and Pakistanis. My career started as a Research Executive in a Marketing Research company catering services to FMCG companies reaching the position of Senior Research Associate. Fate has its own plans and presently I am writing for an English daily on different topics. I believe that truth should be shared at all levels but it should be remembered that goodness is the essence of truth while pure intentions should form the basis of our efforts. Life loses its purpose if it just revolves around personal glory; it is the triumph of good over evil which has greater significance.

I am the kind of person who says ‘yes’ to life. Regarded as ‘willful’, ‘thorough’, ‘understanding’ and ‘refreshing’ by friends and coworkers, I believe my fearless attitude of making decisions – right or wrong, taking risks, making mistakes and standing up to what I believe in, stimulates me to walk uncharted territories and transform myself into a knowledge worker. Through time and experience I have learnt to confront difficult and challenging situations prudently while keeping temperamental swings in check. To attain a balanced lifestyle, I try to keep my professional and personal life on an even keel. At one end I try to fulfill professional challenges of leadership by managing, coaching, motivating and aligning people to the set direction. On the other, I try to carry out my responsibilities as a daughter, friend, citizen, community helper and Muslim individual. Amidst this, I also manage to squeeze in some time for pampering myself with activities like reading, shopping, personal care, watching movies and eating out. An animal lover at heart, I enjoy playing and spending time with my cats.
