Voice of Common Pakistani !!!

This is one statement we get to hear a lot from people around us. This is one line we use ourselves. Is this just a way of speech, a statement or a belief within!

A belief protected by ego, a frame of mind rigid enough to shatter a ray of hope, or a conclusion selfishly derived.

I don’t agree it’s a desired state of mind - it’s against human logic, it’s against the adaptability qualities we are born with, and it’s against the law of nature. As even trees - the least example of life - keep on changing throughout the year, fighting against winds, sunlight, dry patches and rains in order to survive.

If adjustment and adaptability is the key to move forward and grow, if that’s the basic principle of life to bloom after a dry season, then why we humans deny the inbuilt quality by restricting and limiting ourselves by locking up in a shell called ‘I cannot change’.

Thoughts, good or bad, positive or negative, that’s what houses our brain.

Brain never stops working, it keeps on filtering, sifting, dreaming, keeps the hopes and dreams alive.

A process that goes on and on in our day to day life. It does this multi-tasking in the background and in the fore-front it’s available for us.

But what if it goes EMPTY….. Empty with no sign of any thought, empty beyond feelings, empty of emotions and as blank as white paper.

Does it mean insanity ? Or it’s just stopped working any further.

Whatever the reason, the state seems quite unfamiliar yet so soothing. No past or no present, no worries of tomorrow, just plain wide empty thoughtless brain.

No matter what goes around, it’s peace inside. Is this how insanity works ?

Do we know us our selves? How many faces we have face over face.

Do i know myself? Who am I in real out of many faces people see?

If I know not who really am I, could I know you ?

A question I ask myself…… If I know, what I know is really what in actual and how in actual it is.

Many times decisions of our lives are taken by someone else. We are slaves to others, slaves to do what we are asked to do, slaves to our ego, slaves to our dreams. But the worst is that we are slaves to the ones we care the most.

We are dragged here and dragged there and we remain silent. We are asked for the answers, we do not have. We are asked questions for which the answers are not known, we are pushed, pushed and pushed.

Go Green. A new hope!!!

A wave of change and hope emerged on the web scene. When a friend of mine Farhan Masood, carried the idea of Khumail Bukhari (a recent acquaintance) to the heights. A small idea crafted well and executed with continuous input by Farhan, was not only followed by over 7000 Pakistani but a handful of foreigners too showed their friendship towards Pakistan.

Yesterday at a house warming party of a common friend Munira, the topic came under discussion and I could see these youngsters (to me at least) excited and ambitious to do some good for the nation and the country, we casually call Pakistan.
